  • HUNTING AREA:

    Whiteswan Lake is located in South eastern British Columbia in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, just south of Kootenay and Banff National Park. Hunts are designed with each individual hunter in mind, and by all means - foot, vehicle and horse. 


    The better your condition, the more you will be able to achieve. Client hunt with a guide in some of the most beautiful country in British Columbia, with the hunting area covering over 8,000 square kilometres and boasting some of the best Big Game - Mountain Goat, Grizzly, Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Mule Deer, Moose and Black Bear hunting in British Columbia. Black Bear range in colour from pure black to brown or cinnamon in colour. Cougar hunts are also available in December & January.

    Summers on the coast are warm, with daytime temperatures around 20°C. B.C.'s coastal regions have the mildest winters in all of Canada, and temperatures rarely drop below freezing. ... Winters are colder and snowier than in coastal regions. In the north, winters are long and cold with lots of snow, and summers are short.

  • ACCOMODATION

    Hunts are run from a main hunting lodge and many out camps. Arriving at the main lodge is a real delight - the road opens up to reveal the rustic, wooden house and its four out cabins nestled in the valley beside the Kootenay River. The lodge is family owned and built and the love of the wilderness and the outdoor lifestyle is obvious in the detail.


    Each of the four cabins are located away from the main lodge for the privacy of each group. Each cabin has comfortable single beds, and one has a double bed for couples if preferred. Dining is a family affair at a large table and is both welcoming and extremely well catered. The food at this lodge is marvellous and will please even the most fussy eater.


    The views from the main lodge look out from a huge wall of glass to the mountains and woods that surround it.

ACCOMODATION

Cabins: 
Our main lodge is situated near the White River with 4 private hunter cabins and a roomy main lodge. 

 Cabins are comfortable and sleep up to 4 hunters with wood stoves. 

 The main lodge has a large living space with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. 

 The lodge is equipped with satellite internet and majicjack communication, so hunters can feel free to call home to family.
