Derian earned his Professional Hunting qualification in 2013, but his passion for hunting started long before that. Growing up in a family of hunters, Derian developed a natural instinct and deep-rooted connection to the Lowveld, where he has spent most of his life. His dedication and vast experience ensure that every safari he guides is exceptional. With Derian leading your hunt, you’ll be in expert hands, with every detail managed to deliver the ultimate hunting adventure.

Johlene Koekemoer

Behind the scenes, Johlene handles all the administration, marketing, and photography. She is responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly, from your initial inquiry to the final farewell. Johlene takes care of all bookings and logistics, ensuring no detail is overlooked so you can focus on enjoying your experience.

Our Hunting Areas in the Lowveld

We offer a variety of hunting experiences across diverse terrains in the Lowveld, each catering to different preferences.

• Main Hunting Area: Spanning 4,500 hectares, this area features vast grasslands, dense bush, and a 5km stretch of river that flows through the heart of the land. The mix of open spaces and thick vegetation provides an excellent range of hunting opportunities.

• Big 5 Private Nature Reserve: Covering 6,500 hectares, this exclusive reserve offers a classic, old-school hunting experience. Hunting amidst elephants and lions in this non-open reserve creates an unforgettable and thrilling adventure.

• Exotic Game Areas: In addition to the main reserves, we offer several hunting areas ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 hectares, home to a variety of exotic species such as sable, roan, and several colour variations of game.

TEMPERATURES

 In the winter months (May to August) range from 15 to 30°C, while the rest of the year ranges from 20 to 38°C. The rainy season is generally over summer, from late December to March.
