AFRICAN SAFARI TRAILS

African Safari Trails offers a true African safari experience in the heart of Namibia, with 20 species of game available, including leopard, lion, elephant, roan, and sable.

Your PH, Gerrit Utz, was born into the hunting business, having grown up on his father's hunting lodge, Kashjuna, which is his main base today. He has 30 years of experience, is a member of SCI and the Namibia Professional Hunters Association, and is a licensed Big Game Hunter.

African Safari Trails offers two hunting areas: Kashjuna Hunting Lodge, approximately a 90-minute drive north from Windhoek International Airport, and Bamunu Conservancy, approximately 56,000 hectares in the Caprivi, about a 2-hour drive from Katima Mulilo Airport. With the southern border of the Bamuna Conservancy being the Chobe River, this is Gerrit’s go-to location for hunting Cape buffalo, both trophy and non-trophy elephants, hippos, and big crocodiles in a truly wild environment.

Situated northeast of Windhoek & is a 90 minute drive from Windhoek International Airport. Offers hunting of more than 20 species on a 18,000 acre hunting farm. Their policy is to accommodate only one group of hunters at any one time. Hunting takes place from a 4X4 vehicle and once a suitable trophy is spotted, is carried out on foot. Kashjuna is well known for its exceptional trophy quality of roan, eland antelope and black wildebeest. Limit their hunts and practice sustainable hunting measures.
