TSHIPISE SAFARIS

Tshipise Safaris caters for all kinds of hunting, including The Big Five, all African bushveld antelope and plains game. Families are welcomed, as outings and activities for non-hunters are arranged as well.

Peet Bezuidenthout has spent his entire life at Tshipise and consequently knows it as home. He is extremely familiar with the animals and the veld, and is an excellent marksman.

Peet is a qualified helicopter pilot, a Master Measurer of SCI and a member of the Professional Hunters Association of South Africa (PHASA). He has been a personal hunter for 30 years.
  • HUNTING AREA:

Tshipise has access to over 200,000 ha of concessions throughout South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The main African concession stretches along the banks of the Limpopo and Nwanedzi Rivers, and brings you in close proximity to the majestic Kruger National park.

The vast 212,000 ha of unspoilt virgin bushveld offers over 25 species of game, including the Big Five. Tshipise frequently uses their mid-Kalahari camp for hunting desert species.

  • HEALTH/CLIMATE

Our winter months in South Africa are June, July & August and both May & September can also be cold. Generally you can expect cold mornings with the occasional frost, warming towards midday with cold nights. The higher altitudes of our Eastern Cape hunting areas do get snow, so come prepared. The summer months can experience temperatures of up to 100°F at midday.

A few of our South African areas are Malaria areas. Please consult your Doctor if Malaria Prophylaxis is needed. Your Professional Hunter carries a first aid kit, and sophisticated medical services are available in nearby South African towns and cities.
