POINT STUART LODGE

Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of the beautiful Mary River Wetlands 2 hours drive east of Darwin via the Arnhem Hwy. 

Tours & safaris are available to ensure guests from around the world experience one of the most diverse ecosystems in Australia. 

The Mary River Region, ranging from it’s magical monsoon forests, to dense mangrove habitats, lush floodplains, tidal rivers & billabongs, makes this area a wildlife observers & fishers paradise.

















  • HUNTING AREA:

    Experienced guides ensure the utmost safety whilst on safari. Clients are encouraged to bring their own firearms, however, a variety are available for client use. Guests are to supply or cover the costs of ammunition.


    We use a variety of vehicles to tackle the diverse environment, which includes Paperbark forests, rainforest jungles, vast lush floodplains and billabongs. Dry plains rooted up by pigs is seriously rough country & we travel by UTV Rhinos with independent suspension & 4WD with diff locks. Toyota Landcruisers & bull catcher style 4WD's are also utilised.


    We cater for rifle or bow hunters, whether a novice and experienced.

ACCOMODATION

Safari Camps:
Situated in our private grounds close to amenities are several safari style campsites, which include a number of twin share tents and fully equipped kitchens. 

Each tent is canvas roofed with insect proof shade cloth allowing for breeze through cooling, has 2 beds per tent, a fan, lights and power. Linen is also available on request.

The kitchens are fully functional which include gas BBQ’s cook tops, refrigerator, lights & ceiling fans. They allow for comfortable entertaining and dinning away from the insects and wet season weather.

They are ideal for groups of fisherman, tour groups, family groups. The secluded areas have ample parking for vehicles, boats & tour vehicles. 

Each camp can accommodate up to 16 people. 
Lodge Rooms: 
The 15 Lodge rooms range from double and twin share up to 5 share.

Perfect for couples, groups of fisherman and families.

Features include air-conditioning, private bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, all linen, and a fridge. Lodge rooms are serviced every second day. BBQ facilities are close by for self catering.
Standard Rooms: 
Standard style accommodation is also available. 

The 10 rooms range from double, twin share, triple share or four share bunk rooms. 

Standard rooms are basic with air-conditioning and shared bathroom amenities. 

Linen is provided but you will need to bring your own towels. 

All standard rooms have a small fridge. BBQ facilities are close by for self catering.
