BIG GAME SAFARI

GAME HUNTERS AFRICA

Whether it's the Big Five that call you to Africa or the huge variety of plains species, having over 4 million acres of hunting concessions means Game Hunters Africa can cater to your every hunting need.

Mark Haldane began Game Hunters Africa in 1986 and slowly built it up to become one of the best safari experiences available.

Assisted by a great team, they have a remarkable 86% repeat clientele.

Mark has guided hunting in all of the southern countries of Africa, and as far away as Canada, Romania and Australia. Highlights of his career have been a 47 inch buffalo, 80lb elephant, 18.5 inch bushbuck as well as the number 1 suni and red duiker with a hand gun.
  • HUNTING AREA:

Our hunting concession in South Africa is over 4 million acres and covers areas from the western cape, eastern cape, northern province and KwaZulu Natal.

This gives the discerning hunter the chance to experience all that South Africa has to offer. Your safari begins when you fly into the nearest airport and are met by your professional hunter and driven out to the hunting area. Travel is by 4WD, commercial or charter flight.

  • HEALTH/CLIMATE

Our winter months in South Africa are June, July & August and both May & September can also be cold. Generally you can expect cold mornings with the occasional frost, warming towards midday with cold nights. The higher altitudes of our Eastern Cape hunting areas do get snow, so come prepared. The summer months can experience temperatures of up to 100°F at midday.

A few of our South African areas are Malaria areas. Please consult your Doctor if Malaria Prophylaxis is needed. Your Professional Hunter carries a first aid kit, and sophisticated medical services are available in nearby South African towns and cities.
